About the event
Noche Mexicana: Día de Muertos Special Edition
If you're looking for one of the best things to do in Mérida on October 24, Noche Mexicana offers a special Día de Muertos evening filled with culture, music, food, dance, and Yucatecan traditions. Held at the foot of Paseo de Montejo near the intersection of Calle 47, this free celebration will feature special performances, additional vendors, traditional cuisine, and festive programming created especially for Día de Muertos.
As the host at Los Colores de Mérida Bed & Breakfast, I'm often asked what guests should do during their stay in Mérida. Noche Mexicana is one of my favorite recommendations because it brings together artisan shopping, traditional food, music, and live cultural performances in one lively evening. This special Día de Muertos edition adds another layer to the experience, with programming and vendors specifically selected for the celebration.
