Distrito Mejorada: Thursday Night Rock
Every Thursday night, Distrito Mejorada brings free live music to Mejorada in Mérida, Yucatán, from 7:00–9:00 PM. Local bands perform everything from rock and punk to heavy metal, making this a fun way to hear Mérida musicians and experience a different side of the city’s local music scene. It’s a small, informal event with a distinctly local feel. The crowd is young, local, and very friendly.
Staying at Los Colores de Mérida B&B makes it easy to explore Mejorada and the neighborhoods of Mérida Centro. After a day of discovering the city, you can return to the B&B, cool off in the pool, and relax in the tropical gardens before heading out for the night.
