Biciruta Nocturna de Ánimas
Experience Mérida after dark on two wheels during the Biciruta Nocturna de Ánimas, a special evening bike ride through Paseo de Montejo as part of Festival de las Ánimas and the celebration of Janal Pixán.
If you are staying at Los Colores de Mérida B&B, this is a fun way to get out and experience a different side of the city at night. Paseo de Montejo takes on a festive atmosphere as cyclists and families enjoy the evening, with the route offering a chance to see one of Mérida’s most iconic avenues in a completely different way.
I recommend renting your bike from one of the smaller rental shops rather than the larger rental locations, which can get quite crowded during the Biciruta. My preferred rental shop is near Calle 43 and Paseo de Montejo. They do not have as large a selection of bikes as…
